1.16.5-r2.4-322 Lead attached to a creature not properly being tied, and the game crashing when trying to untie a knot from a post

the minecraft launcher error message texts also say something about Quark after crashing, so yeah.
the most annoying part is that this bug sometimes happens, and sometimes It doesn't.
like, sometimes the creature is properly tied to a post and 'detached' from player's hand like It should, and sometimes the Lead just gets duplicated and gets 'stuck' in player's hand, while the creature is behaving as if It's not tied, even if you could see the lead attached to it.
