Issue: I'm using a sticky piston + iron rod to break crates from IE but this was also tested with vanilla concrete. When I trigger the contraption by hand (with a lever) the iron rod works just fine. However, with my comparator setup triggers the contraption the iron rod gets stuck in the block it is being pushed in to.

Does the piston with the redstone block quickly push the redstone block there and remove it? Basically, just power the piston for 1 redstone tick? If so this is a vanilla redstone quirk. Pistons powered for only 1 tick will not pull their block back with them.

Ah that makes sense. Another part of the build was breaking because of that same bug. Thanks for the tip, I guess this is a vanilla thing.
