Quark chests problem with CarryOn mod (double chest placing)

CarryOn allows the player to pickup single chests with their hand and carry them around. When you do that with wood chests from Quark and for example place an acacia chest beneath a double acacia chest (where it shouldn't be placeable) the chest becomes invisible and as a result you technically get 2 double chests that share the inventory with the chest in the middle.
