[1.12.2] Quark’s wool recipes don’t work

8 wool + 1 dye doesn’t craft anything, even though JEI tells me that Quark adds recipes like this.
Quark version: r1.3-115
Minecraft version: 1.12.2
Tested in a game with no mods other than Quark and JEI.
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new Minecraft 1.12.2 profile and install Forge 14.23.0.2537, Quark r1.3-116, and AutoRegLib 1.3-15.
- Launch the game and create a new world in creative mode and with cheats enabled.
- Give yourself a crafting table, eight white wool, and one pink dye.
- Place down the crafting table and put the eight wool blocks in the crafting grid, plus the pink dye in the top left corner.
This recipe produces no outcome.
I’m using the default Quark config, and the “Add 8 Dyed Wool Recipe” config option is enabled.
By the way, for some reason, JEI says that the dye needs to be in the top left corner, whilst your website says the dye needs to be in the middle. Nevertheless, the recipe doesn’t work even when I put the dye in the middle.
Also, on an unrelated note, your website’s section/anchor links don’t work.
It looks like this may be a Forge issue. Try to reproduce the issue with a Forge version newer than Forge 2531.
I found a similar issue with the mod Terraqueous (ShetiPhian/Localizations-and-Issues/issues/122). Quark’s issue might be caused by the same bug, and according to @ShetiPhian, it is fixed by using JSON files for recipes.
Scratch the json file workaround, when testing a new json recipe I forgot I had changed the Forge build back to 2531 during a previous test.
Wildcards do not work anymore at all.
@Vazkii Can confirm that this recipe works with Forge version 14.23.0.2531.
Appears to be this: MinecraftForge/MinecraftForge#4516
This may have been fixed in Forge 14.23.0.2542, although I don’t really know if that’s the case.
Edit: Looks like this was… uh, even more fixed in version 14.23.0.2552 as well.
