[1.10.2] Chest buttons do not appear

I am playing The Simple Life 2, which has the chest buttons disabled, so I re-enabled them (and I also enabled the force-enable option, since Inventory Tweaks is installed too) and disabled Inventory Tweaks’ sorting key, but the buttons do not appear, aside from the sort button.

Modpack: The Simple Life 2 (mod list)
Minecraft version: 1.10.2
Forge version: 12.18.3.2511
Quark version: r1.1-70

Yeah. I wish you’d at least fix major bugs for older versions, though.
