Diorite wall doesn't blend vertically

Hello,
Not sure if this is intentional or not, but it seems walls stacked vertically do not mend together as they do horizontally. For example with Diorite: https://i.imgur.com/uSSQWKS.png
Quark version: r1.4-122
Minecraft version: 1.2.22
Forge version: 1.12.2-14.23.1.2605
