The current version of Quark (r1.4-123, 1.12.2) crashes the game on launch with the following crash report:

The game crashed whilst there was a severe problem during mod loading that has caused the game to fail Error: net.minecraftforge.fml.common.LoaderExceptionModCrash: Caught exception from Quark (quark)

The version prior (r1.4-122, 1.12.2) functions properly, however.

commented

Post the full crash report, that one line is useless. Since its long use a site like pastebin then link it here

I can't reach the full crash report due to a bug in the Minecraft browser were pressing the button to view it does nothing. Is there some way to locate it manually?

commented

Are you using the default configuration? What version of Forge are you using? Are there any other mods installed?

To get the crash report open your minecraft instance, inside the folder, called crash-reports, there should be some .txt files. Find the one that matches the date and time this crash happened open it, copy and paste the contents onto pastebin and then link it here.

How did you fix it? Having the same issue…
(default configuration // forge 2679; definitely happens on 2673 too // happens even with nothing else but autoreglib)

commented

Nevermind that, I fixed it too. Turns out I was using an old version of AutoRegLib with a new version of Quark.

This is still an issue for me too, I'm using the latest versions of both quark & AutoRegLib taken from curseforge, but it still crashes to desktop, despite other claiming that updating helps.

Please provide a crashlog, Tera

That log doesn’t seem to be Quark’s fault. I’d blame CCL before Quark, since they do things to textures and models.

commented

Do you have any idea how to fix it?

commented

I don’t, sorry. Try reporting the issue there.

commented

I'm having the same issue, latest quark and latest AutoRegLib
