wooden trapdoors don't rotate texture based on how you place them

I noticed that the wooden trapdoors in quark don't seem to rotate their top texture depending on if you place them facing west/east or north/south:
The trapdoor in the picture is one that would open up like the one on the top right. It's a visual issue but I feel like it would be cool if the texture also rotated depending on the way you place the trapdoor!
