Pickarang sometimes Duplicates blocks mined

Minecraft version: 1.12.2
Forge version: forge-14.23.5.2847
Sometimes when I mine a block using the pickarang, it duplicates the block. I think this happens because you pick up the block at the same time as the pickarang does.

Looks like the same issue as #1756. Should already be fixed with that fix in the next release.
i've had this dupe dropped items its picked up. i do not need a full inventory.
