[1.16.1] Quark realistic worldgen inconsistancy
scfinniss opened this issue ยท 1 comments
Description
There are jarring inconsistencies on chunk borders when starting a world with the realistic worldgen and then reloading the world. It doesn't look like the seed has changed, but rather that it's the same seed generated slightly differently. It's easier to see in the screenshot.
Version Info
Minecraft: 1.16.1
Forge: 32.0.108
AutoRegLib: 1.6-43
Quark: r2.2-261
To reproduce this issue I did the follwoing:
- Start a new creative world with the world type set to "Quark Realistic".
- Once I have control in game, I turn 180 degrees so I'm facing north. (I do not move)
- Save and quit to title
- Start the world again and travel North
I do not believe facing north, being stationary or creative mode make any difference. These are simply the steps I took to figure out which mod was causing this issue.
The issue is also easier to see on mountainous biomes.
I was unable to get this to happen without using Quark's realistic world gen option.
