[1.16.5, bug/concern] Quark cave features etc obliterating structures

So I've been working on a modpack and I've got mods like better strongholds, better mineshafts, and other large things like when dungeons arise and I have problems with likely a handful of world gen mods.

But most pressing towards this mod is that it seems your crevices and likely other forms of cave biome/crevice generation is obliterating large swathes of underground dungeons.

you can see where the crevice has just completely blown through the obsidian walls of this foundry and cleaved it in half. A lot of neccessary features remain, like chests and spawners and more interesting blocks like bricks etc but most of it gets completely wiped.
This is especially true if you get "lucky" and a magma cavern opens up and swallows the whole thing, as I often get to witness around yungs better mineshafts and such.

is there something that can be done for this? such as maybe moving the crevice and megacave generation to earlier maybe so then other structures from mods can then generate WITHIN them afterwards perhaps rather than being obliterated unluckily for being in proximity?

The mushroom cave etc shouldn't be too much of an issue once another bug with block replacing and underground biomes from elsewhere gets worked out so quark can't go and replace the blocks further when the biome blobs get made. (hopefully. I'm just educated guessing, as I have no clue on the code otherwise.)

Hello! Quark's moved to 1.18 now-- unfortunately, this means that (unless your bug is critical and/or game-breaking), we're closing support for issues filed for versions prior to it (e.g. Quark on 1.16).

If your issue still occurs on 1.18, or if your issue happens to be rather critical (e.g. consistently crashing the game with no other mods present), please leave another note or open a new issue. Thanks for your cooperation!
