me and a friend were testing some things for an upcoming datapack of mine, and we figured out that the growth accelerator from Applied Energestics 2 doesn't work with corundum.
the GA works by making random ticks occur 90 times more often, so it's a real bummer this doesn't work
i assume it's because the corundum blocks don't use random ticks to grow, and for whatever reason use alternative/custom logic?

it turns out that things that can be accelerated are defined via tags, so it's not actually a problem with anything
