Windows: Pressing "change volume/track" keys triggers inventory management buttons

Quark r1.3-114, AutoRegLib 1.3-15, Forge 14.23.0.2531. Running Windows 10 on Dell Inspiron 13-7359.

When I press the "Change volume" or "Play/skip track" buttons, it will trigger one (or more?) of the chest or inventory management buttons. This only happens if the button does not have an assigned keybinding in Controls settings.

I suspect that it's triggering all of the buttons at the same time, as it also causes duplication glitches where the moved item appears in multiple places if the hotbar has empty slots. The duped items fix themselves and disappear when updated in Survival mode, but not in Creative.

This happens to me too. I was wondering which mod did this.

This is extremely annoying. Every time I change my volume whilst in my inventory, my items change location.

I can't reproduce this because I don't have any special keys to try this with. I do think this might fix it though, so please report on whether the next patch sorts it out.

Can confirm that this is fixed in version r1.3-116 of Quark.

Thanks.

Can also confirm fixed in r1.3-116.

@Vazkii @Sonicwave I tested Quark r.13-116 in a fresh install of Minecraft, and the bug was fixed, yet it still occurs in the modpack I’m playing (All the Mods 3), even though Quark has been updated to r1.3-116. Not sure what’s happening here.

Just a note: it only happens when you open your inventory, not when you open a chest, storage crate, etc.

Can you do try adding in mods from the pack until you manage to reproduce the issue? That might help nailing down where the problem is.

All right.

Hi. I am having this issue on the latest version of Quark on 1.12.2 (r1.6-177).
