What is the new feature or improvement?

would it be possible to add a multiplier, so that we can adjust the light range of the carried item? i would love to increase the range by 2-3 more blocks.

I don't control the dynamic lighting directly, this would be in the scope of whichever dynamic lighting mod you're using.
