I was making a modpack and realized few things with ores:

• no config for disabling
• recipe id's for smelting and blasting registered as minecraft and not railcraft
• you could also add tags like "railcraftOres", "railcraftDeepOres", "railcraftIngots" etc.

Also having this issue, definitely should be a config option to disable specific ores.
