Spike mauls seem to be one use only in 1.19.3

Description of the Bug
Using the 1.19.3 version the mod, when trying to change a track from normal to switch or from switch to wye, the spike maul disappears after the first use. This is the case for any of the three mauls in the game.
To Reproduce
1 place track
2 equip any maul
3 right click track with maul
4 maul disappears
Expected behavior
I would've expected a durability bar to appear instead of the item just disappearing.
