[MC 1.10.2/RC 10.0.1] Can't find Tin ore

I've looked far and wide and cannot find any tin ore. Tin and Poor Tin ores are set to 'true' for generation in blocks.cfg, but I have not seen them at any altitude, including in a cave that looks to be almost built entirely out of Railcraft poor xx ores. Is Tin ore generation broken in this version or is there a specific biome and elevation that it will spawn in? Thanks.
I just tried the Xray mod, but its not picking up my Immersive Engineering or Railcraft ores. Do you know of a way that I can export the ore block IDs for my current (custom) modpack so I can add them manually to Xray? Thanks.
Pressing F3 + h should show the ids. Not sure if it's the number ones or not, or what the xray mod uses.
F3+H gives the world IDs and not the actual block IDs needed for the Xray mod to work.
I found that WIT gave me the values I needed, unfortunately I can confirm that the only Railcraft ore that generates is "Poor Lead Ore", and I'have only seen that ore, after incredible searching in 'sp' mode, within a single cave. Are the other people using the 1.10.2 version of this mod not seeing this? (e.g. is this just happening to my particular configuration)
Correction: In addition to "Poor Lead Ore", Quarried Stone and ores from the underwater RC spheres spawn as well.
@PorkchopFu Any followups?
@CovertJaguar Can you confirm this?
No, as far as I know it is working correctly. I haven't tested since I built the system though.
@PorkchopFu Try to look for tin at height of y=50.
I managed to find Tin ore after walking quite a ways away. We are aware that it is rare however; I personally recommend using IC2's OV or OD Scanners to find some. Also check around Y=50, so don't look under oceans or w/e. I recommend Mountains and Mesas since mines are set to spawn richly there.
We'll be tweaking Ore Generation in the future, but for now this will be closed.
