In my development environment, when I put on a pair of goggles with shunting aura, it correctly displays link info. However, when I re-enter the game with the goggles already in my equipment slot, it does not show shunting information, even after you take off the goggles. Sometimes if it renders the link info, I can break cart links between a train and the aura still render them as linked (This only happens when I re-enter).
