@purpleposeidon Does it only happen in one axis? You should turn on F3 debug info if possible.
@CovertJaguar might this be caused by some misplaced magical numbers?
Confirmed. This mainly happens on the turnouts which the perpendicular outlet facing west or east, especially east.
My best guess is that the locomotive goes past the corner and caused the block to make an incorrect verdict that the locomotive came from the outlet path.
Moreover, observe other funky behaviors of minecarts at short corners:
The locomotivve skips the buffer and derails. If the buffer is placed one block farther from the junction, it works totally fine.
