I spent about 30 minutes looking for the stuff. Flying through the nether and mining and various levels. Couldn't find a single ore block. While I was playing around with the stuff I also noticed that mining it gives you a sulfur ore block (unless you use a silk touch pickaxe). I don't know if that was intentional but I thought I should mention it also.

Well I just spent another 30 minutes looking and eventually found one block of it. That's after I used some very cheaty methods of mining also (spamming a TCon hammer in creative mode all over the bottom of a lava lake that was converted to obsidian, and a few industrial tnt's).

I understand you want it to be hard to find/craft. But I think you might have gone overboard on the hard to find part. I can't imagine how long it would take me to find that through legitimate methods.

Its an optional, extremely OP item.

Probably because you didn't look on the bottom of the Lava Sea.

The Sulfur thing has been fixed in dev.

But I did. I guess I'll look a little more...
