the current implementation of the void chest seems weak compared to other solutions for a block that's only purpose is to destroy items it should void a stack at a time just like other equivalent mods rather than slowly removing blocks at a snails pace. currently most people still use the bc void pipe or simply dump items into lava. improving the void chest to the industry standard for instantly voiding items will allow us to finally get rid of the badly programed bc pipes and switch to ME or TE completely without needing to waste space translating into a bc pipe simply for voiding items. the void chest deletes items there is no justification for an arbitrary overbalance such as this it deletes items it cannot be exploited any more than piping items into lava can be exploited.

Use a void pipe if you want instantaneous deletion. I like the Void Chest's slow deletion, it gives you time to back out if you make a mistake.
