Iron Tanks Un-Forming

Using Railcraft 6.12.1.0, with the latest Mystcraft and Buildcraft, and Forge 477. Have the tanks located in an Age where I do all my fuel processing and quarry damage. Config on the server is set to allow tanks with 9 blocks to a side.

In my work dimension, I have a 9x9x8 tank with another 9x9x8 tank connected to the top of it with the valve in between to connect them. In unloaded chunk areas that aren't being kept loaded with a World Anchor, the tanks are un-forming, and only re-forming on the break and re-place of a tank part.

Also, on initial load, tanks are appearing to be completely full, then when they finish loading, they graphically show the correct amounts again.

Issues do not crop up if kept loaded with a World Anchor.

Closing due to lack of further forthcoming information.

Can you determine if its a server side issue or a client side issue. (if half the tank is formed, its client side)

Do you have any pics?

Apologies for the delays. Here's an image of what I'm talking about. Completely unformed, resolves when a piece is removed and placed back. Noticed it doesn't happen on unloading and loading of the Mystcraft age it's in, but only on server reset.

Tried to put the image into the post here, but the interface is refusing to work.

Also, another thing I found wonky about the tanks is when they first load in an unloaded area they're appearing full when you look at them, then once they've had a few moments, they update the graphic and show the proper level again.

I've seen the render level fluctuate like you mentioned, not sure what causes that since I don't think it used to do that, but that's a minor issue.

Dunno whats up with that server restarts though. Never seen that myself.

Could just be the large amount of mods installed on the server. Likely a conflict somewhere I haven't huted down yet. Just figured I'd mention it in case ya thought it'd be important. :)

I can confirm this is still occurring. In my overworld I have several iron tanks, coke ovens, blast furnaces, boilers and steam turbine. They are all ungrouped on server restarts. If I break blocks and replace them they reform. I don't think it's just client side as the pipes connected to them don't pump anything if they're not in block form. However, at the same time if you break a block, internal components to the grouped object fall out. I.E. - Turbine Rotor, Charcoal in coke ovens...

Edit: Running mystcraft too (0.9.5), Railcraft 6.14.0.0 on Forge 489.

Still doesn't seem to be a wide spread issue or more people would complain, no clue why its happening. Still never seen it myself.

Could the tank be on a chunk boundary?

Was one of the first things I checked. Smack dab in the middle of the
chunk. Once I put a world anchor under it, weather it's fueled or not, it
stopped coming apart. Makes very little sense.

An unfueled Anchor would have absolutely no affect on the issue. It would be just a normal block like any other block.
