there is a small bug. Iron and steel plates are not recognized from other mods. Only iron and steel plates from Railcraft are used for tank crafting. Steel and iron plates from (for example) IC2 or Gregtech don't work. Aren't you using forge dictionary?

No. The forge dictionary is not being used. It's a design choice to maintain balance.

I don't think, that the gregtech or ic2 way to make steel is easier. Only RotaryCraft has an easier way, but that steel is not the same ... it is hlsa steel.
Never mind, it is only a suggestion.

FYI you can use Minetweaker to change most recipes to use the oreDict.
Look into that if you really want it.

Last time I looked at the situation, most other plates were significantly more expensive than mine (four ingots per plate seemed to be the average).
