Block metadata changes occasionally when placed next to TE cables (8.4.0.0) (duplicate please close)

Just found out this is a duplicate. Can you please close this issue.
When placing a block which has the same ID but different metadata as the World Achor, eg. Rolling Machine, next to (seemingly) any Thermal Expansion cable/pipe, the block occasionally will change metadata to 0 turning the block into a World Anchor.
This has been tested with all blocks on the the World Achor ID.
