Hello =)

I have tested it many time in Singleplayer and Multiplayer.

When you try to add Water from a Redpower2 liquid Pipe to a Hobbyist-Engine, it wont fill with water! Only from the sides but not from Top or bottom!
There is an animation that this both are connectet but it wont fill up.
It has nothing to do with pressure as it does fill Steam Boiler and other Railcraft machines.
It attached the pipes to the bottom and top. It does not work. With Buildcraft and Thermal Expansion Pipes it works.

Go and test it yourself :)

Minecraft Version: 1.4.6
Redpower2 Version: pr6
Railcraft Version: 6.12.1.0

Greetings :D

In version 1.4.5, I can connect a pipe to the side and it works fine.

OK ... thats strange.

Can you DL FTB DW20 Pack and try it there? Maybe it is an issue with the 1.4.6 version.
I really can reproduce it :/

commented

Ok after further testing I found that it works.
But only on sides. On Top or buttom it is not filling.

... Is that wanted? As Buildcraft and Thermal Expansion pipes can fill from Top and Bottom!

Sorry for the confusion

RP pipes are sided, unlike BC pipes. That's Elo's choice.

So they just work from sides? No matter what machine/Mod is attached. Ahhh ok didnt knew it

I am sorry about that. Can be closed =)

It can work from any side, but only the side I attach the tank to. It very similar to sided inventories.
