I was wondering what happened to the stone and metal Lanterns, since the last mention in the change logs were in version 9.3.3.1 when the metal lanterns were added, but after that no further mention of them.

I would like to know why they were dropped from railcraft and if its possible to reintroduce them to the 1.12 railcraft or newer if in progress.

A standalone mod for the lanterns would also be an option, if they don't fit into railcraft. Because i can't imagnine that there would be to many bugs involved for lightning blocks, since it should just be the plain vanilla torch code for lightning.
