Tank gauges are replaced by strengthened glass in 12.1.0 beta versions. This caused following problems:

• Glass can't be clicked for tank GUI like tank gauges did.
• Glass doesn't glow like the tank gauges did.
• Glass has a slightly different texture than the gauge.
• Glass is much cheaper than iron/steel tank gauges, so players can use them to save materials for tanks. This is most effective on larger tank sizes as more walls can be replaced by glass.

Bring the tank gauges back.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Bring the tank gauges back, but the glow feature can be omitted as it's mostly aesthetic, and may be complex.
