The Buildcraft plugin needs to be updated to the latest API of Buildcraft, this should happen in this release, simultaneously to the RF port. According to @asiekierka, the gate part of the API (the important part for this mod) is in a reasonably sane state, but it contains quite a few breaking changes, so an update will be necessary.

Now that BuildCraft 6.1.5 has been released, an update should be doable.

This is not an enhancement since buildcraft is going to be switching to RF in all releases here on. It will become a bug since all power generation will not work, and powering items won't work. Powering the Rolling Machine won't work, etc.

Railcraft will be switching to RF soon as well.

Not soon enough, however - players are complaining and packs are stalled only due to RC now.

So CovertJaguar should release a new official version as soon as possible.
