Hello, i connect to Rolling machine energy cable/pipe from other mods (Extra utilities,Mekanism) and energy don't flow insade machine. What is wrong?

commented

I have this issue too

Can we get some more information? Perhaps a screenshot of your setup?

I'll try to get a screenshot soon, but placing an extra utilities generator with fuel next to a rolling machine does not power the rolling machine. The extra utilities generator's energy buffer does fill up, and I have used the same generator to power my AE2 system. Also, I tried using a hobbyist's engine to power it, but the energy buffer does not fill up (I have water and coal in it). I suspect it might have something to do with the power being based around MJ.

The versions of the mods involved would also be helpful.

I got the hobbyist's engine working, I was forgetting a redstone signal. I think the other mods engines not working are because they aren't inputting MJ, just RF but they should be backwards compatible. Maybe that was only TE conduits?

commented

RF for Railcraft is still in development. Yep it was the conduits that would auto convert.

@samuell95 Version 9.3.3.0 does not support the RF API yet. You will need to wait for 9.3.4.0/9.4.0.0 for that to work.

commented

For now you'll just have to use MJ rather than RF. Thanks!

MJ will be dead soon. The RF api needs to be a high priority if it isn't already.
