Problems updating from 1.6.4 world many items lost at world load

Hello, just updated minecraft from 1.6.4. to 1.7.10
Mods used:
Buildcraft 6.1.17
Railcraft 9.4.0.0
Optifine 1.7.10 HD U4
CraftGuide 1.6.8

When loading world there's a warning that 56 items are missing in the world.
If loading world anyway all carts (except the only simple cart) are missing.
Also steel items, coke coal and some other items missing too.
But some Railcraft items such as Diamond Bore are present.

Do I need to attach Minecraft launcher log?

The id system changed so an upgrade from 1.6.4 to 1.7.10 is a highly unpredictable event. I suggest removing everything you can and putting it into chests.

commented

Already did that with no effect.
All coke coal and carts missing was placed mostly in chests or in vanilla chestcarts.

Well this isn't really an issue with railcraft it's that item ids changed. Try to make the item ids from your 1.6.4 match with the 1.7 configs

You will just have to cheat in what was lost. Sorry but there really is no other solution.

Items generally get less attention from legacy migration support than blocks. Items are easy to replace via creative.

Thank again, will try.

As for the IDs, you just want to make sure you use the same configs from
your 1.6 install and hope for the best. One of the big features of 1.7 is
that it removed IDs so you no longer need to worry about them. However the
transition is a little hit miss. Make you sure you have the latest 1.6.4
versions of all your mods installed (and that you load the world with them)
before you try upgrading to 1.7.

You will need to enable cheats on the save (if they aren't already). You can do this via NBTExplorer. Load the level.dat file for your save and change "allowCommands" to 1. This will allow you to use in game chat commands such as "/gamemode c" which will put you in creative. Use "/gamemode s" to return to survival. After you are done you can turn commands back off again with NBTExplorer.

Thanks!
Do you know where to learn about commands and item id's?
Sorry for being such annoying newbie :)
That was the final question.
Thank you again!

The main one you care about though is /gamemode, as this allows you access to the Creative mode GUI where you can easily replace items.
