Integration with https://github.com/MineMaarten/IGW-mod would be nice.
It would be a rather convenient way to access the mod's information.

Seems that IGW is dead now.

Would be worth it. We wouldn't have to look at an outdated wiki.

commented

Yeah, instead you get to look at an outdated in-game wiki. ;)

When will we renew http://railcraft.info/wiki ? I think the we should make some change on start page.

Well, I'm kinda sorta working on a resource pack that has the entries for things. Mostly copied from the Railcraft wiki (and edited as I go along). So far I've got all the tracks except the electric ones, all the carts, and the guides for High Speed and Cart Linking. If I manage to get it finished, perhaps someone more skilled than I could add it into the mod.

I think adding it in would be as simple as copying it into the assets directory of Railcraft. But you could always leave it as a separate resourcepack. Even distribute it, if you get permission.

commented

well, as just a resource pack, there are a couple of things it can't do:
Give it its own tab
Link multiple objects to the same entry

I've also had to hardcode some of the recipes, mostly the ones for the carts that can be reverse-crafted. It crashes the game if I try to retrieve them normally. There's a few things someone could do codewise to fix that.

Well also some people can't have a web browser up while they play minecraft. It would lock up there computer so this is another reason to implement this.

Insanely massive amount of work. probably not going to happen.
