Minecart dupe bug and infinitely placeable vanilla carts.

I've run into a problem with placing any of the vanilla minecarts in my modpack. I am able to infintlely place them as it doesn't use up the one in my hand also if I bump into the one that was placed it splits into two, waila shows both named entity.MinecartRidable.name one says Railcraft and the other says Minecraft beneath them. I haven't noticed the bugs with any of the non-vanilla railcraft carts.
My modpack uses smbarbour's MCUpdater and the pack can be found here:

Yes, I've removed all of the other mods from the pack except Railcraft_1.7.10-9.6.0.0.jar and the carts are still duping.
It doesn't seem to happen in single player, only on the server.
