First, I'd like the idea of a track that can teleport carts and trains.

Second, there should be a special interdimensional track that can teleport carts between the overworld and the nether.

Maybe not allow arbitrary teleportation, but just a reliable way to get a train to the nether/end and back to the overworld. Like a special 'portal' for trains, but in the form of a track.

Kind of defeats the point of using trains in the first place.

Teleport tracks are incredibly boring. I hope they won't ever be a thing unless there's some strong limitations to them.

Back on topic... I truly believe a portal to cross dimensions would be amazing.

It would be even better if it locked to the cords in the other dimension as the overworld.
