I need more info, pics of all the tanks that reset, save files, logs. Whatever you can provide.

We also have the issue, that some tanks are empty after a restart.
It doesn't matter how full the tank is or what size the tank has - sometimes after an crash the tank is empty.

We are running the version 6.17.0.0 on a mcpc legacy server

Ah well crashes don't count. Especially with no logs.

I have new information on this one, as it has been hitting multiple people on my server. It is on a FTB server using the current Direwolf20 pack (Version 5.2.1) for Minecraft 1.4.7. The server is using mcpc and some plugins. While the above comments have been noted by other people (tank empty after a crash and/or scheduled restarts), I noticed this happen in mere moments. I resupplied a tank with Liquid Bee DNA after having the tank empty earlier in the night as I was genetically modifying bees etc, and moving storage between two mystcraft ages. The tanks are full 9x9x8 size tanks located across the room from the portal I was using. Both tanks have the same design of all Tank Wall, save for the side facing in which is a Tank Gauge face within the frame, with a valve in the bottom middle of the gauge section, and two valves in the top, just 2 blocks to the left and right of dead center (respectively) oriented to the tank face. The output valve is connected to Liquiduct set to pump out, with a lever above the valve on the tank itself and turned on. I came back through the portal from grabbing a load, and no other player was online at the time within the age with the tanks. The tank had gone from about 1/6th full to 0. No restart, no hiccup, merely unloading the tank and reloading dropped the tank's inventory.

Speculation Follows.
I would guess it is somehow tied to the chunk containing the center bottom block and at least one other chunk of the tank not loading together, breaking the tank. I know that doesn't seem likely, but I have seen large Mystcraft portals effected by chunk borders strangely. I can confirm there is a chunkline in the tank.

EDIT: I checked with a few other people on the server with the same issue. I can confirm the problem affects multiple size tanks, including a 5 x 5 x 5. From the people I talked to, there are chunk boundaries passing through the tanks. Another commonality seems to be a Liquiduct connected to an output valve and switched on at the time of the tank emptying fully and suddenly (and I checked, this isn't a case of the tank emptying out through standard means, it is going from mostly full or half full over the course of the chunk being unloaded and reloaded through some means).

EDIT 2: Did some testing. Turning the lever to off (to turn off the Liquiduct) did not prevent the tank from emptying.

If I can provide more information, let me know.

Is everyone with this issue running MCPC?

Got this issue on a MCPC git-MCPC-Plus-jenkins-MCPC-Plus-Legacy-22 (MC: 1.4.7)
Forge 6.6.2.534
Railcraft 6.17
Liquids (Oil and Fuel) disappear from SOME Iron Tanks of different size. (Other are not effected) Once it happened after a Railcraft version update, yesterday it happened during normal operation with no error message... - There was a Minecraft multiplayer sessions outage reported at the same time.

We fixed the problem on our server by using an older version of MCPC+
It appears to be an MCPC conflict rather than a Railcraft conflict.

Thank you Covert.
