Crash / refusal to load with RC Texture pack installed

May not be a RC fault, but indeed the texture packs. I'm using a Sphax add-on created by a forum member over at bdcraft.
If the texture pack IS selected and the RC patch is installed, minecraft stops loading and provided the error below. If vanilla textures are selected, and you try to select the Sphax TP then it will not work, and revert to Vanilla.
I do not have optifine installed due to its large amount of bugs with forge at the moment.

Provided an error log above. If any additional information is required then just drop me a message or alternative.
EDIT: I should probably note, i'm using the current development/beta build of DNS 4.01 testing both the pack and the textures.
"mods/railcraft/textures/blocks/detector.animal.png" should have an aspect ration of 3:1, ie a multiple of 48x16.
If it does not, you could get that crash.
