this happens whenever I log into the server in a chuck close to the coke ovens or tanks.

I've never been able to reproduce these issues with a clean install, so it must be some kind of mod interaction I'd think. I'd look at core mods first.

Are you sure that it is not cauldron, kcauldron or thermos? Server plugins and server side only mods may have affects also.

commented

nope there are are no plugins just mods. it only seems to happen when there
are a lot of them and you are logged off for a decent amount of time in a
close chunk to the multiblocks. if I leave my base and log out then I never
have the issue. it also doesnt happen if I log out/in quickly it has to be
long enuff for the server to unload the chucks completely

Do you have a mod list and the type of server? These information are not enough, as those multiblocks might be good on the server but somewhat it does not sync correctly onto the client.

commented

Well...that's already more info than anyone else has ever been able to provide and very interesting...

Not sure what to make of it though.

@bear989 Can you try to remove coremods and create a new world to see if issues persist?

Closing due to inactivity and not enough information. No one else in 1.7 reported such issue.
