Love these random things. I'm hunting down a problem with flickering in 1.8 and while doing so I saw the following Forge 1480 errors that might be worth looking into:

[09:25:29] [Client thread/ERROR] [FML/]: Model definition for location randomthings:specialChest#facing=south not found
[09:25:29] [Client thread/ERROR] [FML/]: Model definition for location randomthings:specialChest#facing=east not found
[09:25:29] [Client thread/ERROR] [FML/]: Model definition for location randomthings:specialChest#facing=north not found
[09:25:29] [Client thread/ERROR] [FML/]: Model definition for location randomthings:specialChest#facing=west not found

I have no idea what they mean not how to fix them. I see that other add-ons have the same problem.

This probably won't be the cause of your "flickering" but i'll look into whether i can remove these errors from the console.

Yes, these errors have probably nothing to do with the flickering.
So far I know that Waila have some problem with graphics but there is something else somewhere that I'm hunting.
