It's because I wanted to implement a sleep tweak as well, but it conflicted with Surge's pigman sleep fix. I just backported 1.12's sleep behavior (which includes the pigman sleep fix), and added my tweak. If you want, I could disable my tweak instead, or figure out another workaround. It's not a major feature of the mod anyway.
