in the 1.20.1 version of the mod, the option to disable plastic & use glass instead is no longer available.
this option was very handy for being able to use the mod in a medieval or fantasy setting, where plastic shouldn't exist, & glass could be substituted in the recipes.

I'd like to request this feature be brought back if possible!

The config option didn't replace plastic with glass, but there was a config option to disable plastic. It's very easy to replace the recipes yourself with a datapack, the only reason the option used to exist was because modifying recipes wasnt easy like it is nowadays. I'm happy to whip up a datapack that does this for you if you want
