When I try to /setskin i.imgur.com/whatever It says that it successfully changed it, but nothing changes. Leaving and rejoining doesn't work either.

To Reproduce

1. upload skin to imgur that works on minecraft.net
2. right click and copy image address
3. go in game and try /setskin (default steve url) and it works
4. try /setskin (custom skin) and it says it changed it, but i'm still steve

Tried changing the config to allow transparent skins (the skin isnt transparent) but that didn't change anything

A fix is already out for later versions, though I don't really work in older versions. There is also a proxy skin loading workaround for imgur https://www.sekwah.com/reskin/

What is the url you are using for the skin? Using the imgur link directly wont work. it has to be the direct source URL .png

Nvm, I fixed it alr. I'm using Tlauncher since I accidentaly deleted some important files for the normal minecraft launcher and Tlauncher automatically puts a mod called "TLSkinCape" so I'll just have to delete that everytime I launch it

Yea not really planning to make that compatible but it is a known issue.
