I have an incomplete staff with progress=2 near my crucible. I've exposed staff to Blasting and Foaming already. However, now I cannot expose it to Grid Break.
Powers in my cauldron:
Mind - 20%
Esoteric III - 54%
Warp - 17%
After placing gold symbol nearby cauldron nothing happens with the wand.
Does in need to be above so displacement beam would hit it? Or what could be wrong?

I misunderstood how this mechanic works. It doesn't need golden symbol at all. I just need to "release" esoteric power into the atmosphere
