I feel like this needs attention to be brought to it.

This is a huge problem, (especially for modpacks like Skyfactory 4, where one of the most common things people think to do is to shove their automatic resources into filing cabinets and then hook them up to AE2/Simple Storage systems) and causes absolutely massive lag that makes playing the game absolutely unbearable.
