Playing on the Realm of Mazara pack
I was continuisly experiencing an issue of loosing my tinkers tools and getting a random stick armors
I looked into it, and only removed Realistic Item Drops
After removing the mod the issue was gone
Tinkers version: TConstruct-1.12.2-2.12.0.135.jar
Realistic Item Drops version: RealisticItemDrops-1.2.14.jar
Forge version: forge-14.23.5.2836

same issue here. I do not see a config option. I believe I had submitted an issue similar to this before, where the tools would not render as it should and normally like the vanilla way, but couldnt be picked up as a result as it wasnt the same entity. Tinker's tools are handled differently as they resist lava form destroying them. Knightminer i believe said how this worked before.

looking back at my issue for #18 , this is a similar issue, but different. I did not have this issue before, so something is clearly going on here.

ok just tested the solution to my old issue, its actually tweaker's construct. A simple way of resolving this is by setting tool uninvincibility to false, and TiC tools will no longer drop as sticks, but instead as their same entities, which means they will still render as vanilla items, but at least you can pick them up again.
