Place unprogrammed processor on the ground, use pickaxe to pick it up, regularly you'll get 2 back. I am using a pick that has luck on it to break the processor to pick it up, so I don't know for sure whether it's not the luck causing multiple processors to be returned. But it's really easy to replicate.

I see that as well, however it's not actually that you get two dropped but rather, that the original one you placed didn't get consumed and reappears as a glitch.
