Filtered Hoppers only collect items when they fall perfectly into the center of the hopper -Most of the items just stay on the edges. You also cant use slabs on top of the Filtered Hoppers (they blocking them completely from collecting items). Its seems like Filtered Hoppers "collecting hitbox" is way smaller than regular hopper.
