While this isn't an issue that your mod is causing directly, I'm posting to your github in an attempt to get a solution faster than posting to Thaumcraft's issue tracker. Simply put, I would appreciate if there was a config option to disable the recipe that converts a sorting chest back into a normal chest.

Here's why: The recipe to craft a sorting chest back into a normal chest appears to be getting caught by Thaumcraft's system for determining what items an aspect should have, giving chests a total aspect count of 4 Vacuous, 3 Metallum and 2 Lucrum (instead of the normal of 4 Vacuous and Arbor). Because of that mistake, a tree farm can be used to create limitless amounts of various items (using thaumcraft's alchemy system, actual impact depends on what other mods are installed and whether the pack has other means of easy limitless resources). I've tried modifying the recipes using Minetweaker and RecipeTweakingCore, but the aspects on the chest remain unchanged.

This is on Forge 1291, using Refined Relocation 1.0.7g and Thaumcraft 4.2.3.5. If there's any other information you desire, please let me know...

Sorry this took so long, but this commit: 4be0686 adds a way to disable the recipe completely. This will be in the next release!
