Describe the bug

Ran into an issue with the latest update. Running a little server for myself and a friend and we couldn't use our refined storage network. Anything we put in seems to get voided. For example say there's 12 stone in the system and I take out 6? I have the 6 and it shows the remaining 6 in the system. If I put the 6 in my hand back in the system for a moment it'll show 12 again but then drop back down to 6.

Anything we tell it to craft gets crafted but then immediately disappears similar to the above. The issue resolves itself when we disconnect the storage controllers for our network of functional storage drawers. Many of those drawers have void upgrades as we use them to store the output for various bees and mystical agriculture seeds. All of them are locked to their contents so nothing else can be put in them.

It looks like for some reason with this version of refined storage is ignoring the type and just shoving items in anyway and the void upgrade just voids them. For now we've worked around this by altering our network. Until now our system was set up so the ender chest that all the mystical agriculture essence went into would be imported via a mega importer and sent to the drawers first via Refined Storage priority settings. Now we've moved the ender chest and just set up an item pipe with netherite upgrade to bypass the network and go straight to the drawer controller and changed the priority settings so Refined Storage tries to store on the disk drive first before anything else.

Just wanted to report it here incase someone else is having a similar issue that it might be that RF is ignoring type settings on your voided drawers and deleting items by trying to send them to drawers that aren't supposed to accept them.

How can we reproduce this bug or crash?

Have a functional storage drawer with a void upgrade connected via RF external storage at higher priority than anything else in the network so the RF network tries the drawer first. In our situation we had a bunch of them connected to a FS Drawer Controller, all of them type locked and void upgraded. The controller had an external storage with priority set to 10 and everything else in the RF network set to priority 0 so it would try the drawers first.

Hm... I hadn't actually tried to replicate it yet so I just tried to replicate it in singleplayer and it didn't work. Tried to replicate it back on the server and it didn't work. I'm at a loss and now feel like a liar. This was the problem we had and how we fixed it. No idea why I suddenly can't replicate it.

Crap I misclicked! Was writing a comment! Sorry!!

Edit 8/20: It wasn't letting me re-open it at first saying I didn't have permission but it let me do it now. Weird. Anyway. Really sorry about the initial close. ๐Ÿ˜…

I will try to replicate it. What should we do if I can't replicate it myself?

Not sure. This could be a one off of some sort or maybe it was something to do with my setup. I just tried again and still couldn't replicate. I guess if it couldn't be replicated we just close it for now?

I cannot replicate it myself, either via storage controller or regular drawer connection w/ void upgrade.
Keep in mind that Refined Storage does not void resources on its own.
Especially if you saw something being inserted, and then self-correcting so it appears voided a bit later, it means that the external storage reported that the item was removed and Refined Storage corrects its own representation; meaning that this could essentially be an issue in Functional Storage as well.

Closing for now, if you see it happening again, please let me know. Thanks.
