Autocrafting EnderIO Vibrant Alloy doesn't work

Issue description:

When I try to autocraft EnderIO Vibrant Alloy in EnderIO Alloy Smelter, the recipe always shows as "Machine is in use" in the Refined Storage Crafting Monitor, even when the machine is clearly not in use. I can autocraft other alloys and other items in an Alloy Smelter in this RS system, so I think I've got the recipe right. (I've tried redoing the recipe multiple times, same result each time.)

What happens:

No alloy is produced. Crafting monitor says "Machine is in use". The Alloy Smelter is empty, set to "All smelting" mode. (Tried setting it to other modes, same result.)

What you expected to happen:

Autocraft any amount of Vibrant Alloy I ask for, I expect it make the alloy and funnel it into my RS system.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Alloy Smelter with a crafter on top, pointed into the alloy smelter. RS Importer on the side of the alloy smelter, cabled to the crafter. Crafter cabled to my Controller, crafting grid, storage, etc. Power cable to the smelter from the bottom, with plenty of power available.
  2. Create a pattern in a Processing Pattern Encoder for Vibrant Alloy: one Energetic Alloy bar plus one Ender Pearl makes one bar of Vibrant alloy. Tried it with OreDict on and off, no difference.
  3. To eliminate some possible causes, put 10 energetic alloy and 10 ender pearls in the RS storage system, Put the pattern in the crafter, ask the crafting grid to make you 10 Vibrant alloy.

I've done a lot of debugging in my day, though not in Minecraft mods. One thing I think might be worth investigating is that the Ender Pearls stack size is 16, not 64 like most other items. I wonder if that might be causing some problem. (And yes, this could just as well be an EnderIO bug. I'll be reporting it over there, too, but I've included the EnderIO version number below in case you want to repro against a specific version.)
...

Version (Make sure you are on the latest version before reporting):

  • Minecraft: 1.10.2
  • Forge: 12.18.3.2254 (FTB Beyond)
  • Refined Storage: 1.2.25 (1.2.25)
  • EnderIO: 1.20.2-3.1.180

Does this issue occur on a server? [yes/no] Local server. Standard single player FTB Beyond setup.

Never mind. I had the inputs and outputs misconfigured on the alloy smelter. Why it only caused a problem on one recipe, I don't understand. But I am now able to make the stuff I wanted.
