Items disappeared from grid

Issue description:
items are not showing up inside the grid, the cards show the items are there but no way to access then
What happens:
grid is empty
What you expected to happen:
see my items
Steps to reproduce:
- at the time i was adding stuff from my inventory into the storage system and it blanked out

- Minecraft: 1.12.2
- Forge:forge-1.12.2-14.23.3.2679-universal
- Refined Storage: 1.5.33

Extra Info: cannot export out of system into AE or have AE pull items out
