Describe the bug

I am trying to automate GregTech machines crafting recipes. But when i am sneaking or pressing shift patterns doesn't show anything. That makes hard to keep track of thing that i automated:

How can we reproduce this bug or crash?

1. Setup a pattern for GregTech Chemical Reactor or any machine block.
2. Press shift or sneak when mouse hovering over pattern.
3. It will show empty instead of rendering machines inventory icon.

What Minecraft version is this happening on?

Minecraft 1.18.2

What Forge version is this happening on?

47.2.23

What Refined Storage version is this happening on?

1.12.4

BTW this only happens with pattern and it is looking good on crafting and pattern grids:

I'm also having this issue in ATM9. It only affects display of the result item when the pattern is inside a crafter. Everything works fine in the grid and can be crafted succesfully. Doesn't matter if it's regular or processing pattern, etc.

ATM9 versions: 0.2.60

Not all GT recipes are broken, but only GT items have this issue. I haven't noticed any patterns in what works or doesn't work.
